A native of Detroit, MI, Brad Russell is an extremely well-rounded musician, highly accomplished on both electric and upright bass.  Brad studied with Detroit Symphony Orchestra bassist Max Janowsky, as well as world-renowned bass virtuoso Gary Karr.  He is also an alumnus of the University of Miami School of Music.

Brad has played bass with a wide variety of music luminaries, including Joe Satriani, Gregg Bissonette, Mike Clark, Neal Schon, Pat Travers, Rick Derringer, Gary Hoey, Narada Michael Walden, Lonnie Smith, Jack DeJohnette, Gregg Allman, Steve Smith and many others.  He is also an active educator and clinician.
