Adrenaline Mob, TSO bassist had been on way to concert

David Zablidowsky, bassist for Adrenaline Mob and Trans-Siberian Orchestra, was killed Friday (July 14) in a Florida auto collision. Six other people were injured and taken to the hospital as the result of the three-vehicle accident.
The musician and several other passengers had been sitting in the band’s RV, which had pulled over to fix a flat tire, when a tractor-trailer lost control on Interstate 75 and veered into them. The driver of a 2003 GMC Sierra also collided with them. At the time of the accident, the band had been traveling from Biloxi, Mississippi, to St. Petersburg, Florida for a Friday show.
In a statement posted to Facebook, Adrenaline Mob drummer Jordan Cannata — who was hurt in the accident along with vocalist Russell Allen and guitarist Mike Orlando and several of the group’s crew members — shared his feelings about the loss of his friend and bandmate:
“We are all devastated and will need some time to physically and mentally cope but the outpouring of love has been nothing short of inspiring. David Z…I love you, I miss you, and send my heartfelt condolences to your family and friends. To the rest of my band mates and crew, I love you all. Please keep everyone involved in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you everyone. RIP David Z”
David Zablidowsky joined Adrenaline Mob in 2016 and had been a longtime member of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. With his brother Paulie Zablidowsky, He had also played in the band Z02, which was the subject of the IFC comedy Z Rock.
