Former Beyoncé, Victor Wooten bassist offers updates on current projects, equipment and future plans

A native of Atlanta, GA, Divinity Roxx is an acclaimed composer, producer, rapper and recording artist – not to mention one of the funkiest bass players you’ll ever hear!

Well known for her longtime gig as bassist and musical director for Beyoncé, as well as performing as a member of Victor Wooten’s band, Divinity is a bona fide artist and leader in her own right.  Her hip-hop/rap album, The Roxx Boxx Experience, was released in 2012.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Divinity at the 2014 Warwick Bass Camp in Markneukirchen, Germany.
