It seems Duff’s had enough of his current home in Los Angeles.
Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan recently put his Spanish-style hacienda residence in the L.A. neighborhood of Sherman Oaks up for sale to the tune of $3.85 million, according to The Wall Street Journal.
That’s a bit more than the $2.975 million he originally paid for the home in 2005. The property where McKagan raised his two daughters with his wife, model and swimsuit designer Susan Holmes McKagan, includes a 4,200-square-foot home, former stable turned gym and guesthouse that he used for writing and music-making.
It doesn’t look like he’ll be through with L.A. any time soon, though. According to Yolanda’s Little Black Book, Duff bought a $4.7 million mansion through a blind trust about two minutes away from the other Sherman Oaks home last December. Originally built in 1936, The new home is reportedly a 6,760-square-foot plantation-style home with 7 bedrooms and a pool.
McKagan also keeps a home by the water in his native Seattle.
The bassist is currently rocking out with his GNR bandmates on their whirlwind Not In This Lifetime reunion tour. They’ll be heading to Europe next month and returning to the U.S. for more shows in late July.
