KISS frontman strongly denies allegations

As if Gene Simmons didn’t have enough troubles after getting a lifetime ban from Fox News’ studios, now he’s facing a lawsuit over some sexual misconduct claims.
A woman who is only identifying herself as “Jane Doe” is alleging the KISS frontman and bassist groped her, made some unwanted sexual advances and even struck her. Doe, who is a local on-air radio personality, claims the alleged incident happened during an interview at a San Bernardino, California restaurant called Rock & Brews, which is part of a chain co-owned by Simmons.
According to the lawsuit, Simmons “reached over and grabbed [Doe’s] hand and, forcefully, placed it on his knee,” which Doe felt was an “unwanted sexual advance.” After she withdrew her hand, Simmons allegedly responded to standard interview questions with “sexual innuendos,” grabbed her hand again and later “flicked/struck” her in the throat.
Simmons, however, has a different recollection of the meeting and vigorously denied any misconduct in a recent Facebook post.
“Friends, I intend to defend myself against any alleged charges you may have been reading about in the media,” he said. “For the record, I did not assault the person making these accusations in the manner alleged in the complaint or harm her in any way. I am conferring with my lawyers with the aim of vigorously countering these allegations. And I look forward to my day in court where the evidence will prove my innocence.”
Simmons does not have any scheduled shows for the remainder of the years but will be playing a series of dates in Australia with his solo band this coming February.
