Roger Waters has set his sights on taking his popular Us + Them tour across the pond to Europe.
The former Pink Floyd singer and bassist has already been wowing U.S audiences with the show since May and intends to hit Canada and Australia over the next few months. Now he’s announced six shows in Germany and Austria next year, starting with Hamburg on May 14.
From there, Waters plans to take the tour to other parts of the continent, including Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK, for a total of 23 countries in all. Dates and other details pertaining to these other stops have yet to be revealed.
US + Them features both Pink Floyd songs from The Dark Side of The Moon, The Wall, Animals and Wish You Were Here, as well as new tunes from his new solo album Is This the Life We Really Want? and, of course, the jaw-dropping immersive audio-visual spectacle Water’s shows are known for. For the time being, though, he’s still touring the U.S. with his next stop in Cleveland on Thursday (Sept. 21).
