Warwick wants to make sure its popular RockBass Corvette series is firing on all eight cylinders. To that end, the manufacturer recently released an eight-string version of their Corvette Basic.

The new eight-stringer features an alder body, three-piece bolt-on maple neck with Ekanga veneer stripes and Wenge fingerboard. Its body is equipped with two active MEC jazz pickups and chrome hardware.

The bass also has a two-piece bridge and Warwick tuners and comes in a Nirvana Black Transparent Satin finish. And, sorry lefties, it only comes in a fretted right-handed model.

The new Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic 8 is available now at a MSRP of $1,299.
