Will Yes be touring the states later this year? In a word, yes!

As fortune would have it, the band is scheduled to play 25 cities across the United States this summer as part of their ongoing “The Album Series” tour.

Fans in attendance will be treated to a full performance of their 1980 album, Drama,  along with Tales from Topographic Oceans, Sides 1 & 4, and a selection of greatest hits.

The band will get the tour rolling in Columbus, Ohio on July 27. From there, they’ll take it all over the USA, hitting Washington D.C., Chicago, Denver and many more stops before winding things down in San Diego, California on Sept. 4.

“We are proud to present the American public with forward-looking albums from the past,” guitarist Steve Howe said in a release. “Promoting Drama at Madison Square Garden on multi-nights was a career milestone in 1980, and we are especially looking forward to performing both the opening and closing sides to Topographic Oceans.”

Yes’ current lineup features Billy Sherwood on bass, Steve Howe on guitar, Alan White on drums, Geoff Downes on keys and Jon Davison as lead vocalist.

In a recent Yesworld Q&A, Sherwood told fans he’s in a very different space then he was last year when he took over duties for his late friend, the legendary bassist Chris Squire.

“The last tour was very difficult thing emotionally to deal with,” Sherwood told fans. “So my mind was was in a very different place, one I’d never imagined experiencing in my life. That said I started finding my own towards the end of that tour, but going into this new cycle of touring, I feel much more relaxed about it all.”

“A big part of feeling more comfortable in those shoes now is the fact that the fans have been incredible, supportive and loving towards my doing what I am doing for/with YES,” he continued. “I am so thankful for them being there and can’t say it enough, I thank the fanbase for rallying around the entire band at this time and supporting the band.”

Yes is currently gearing up for their Spring 2016 tour of Europe and the U.K., which kicks off April 27 in Glasgow Scotland.
