Pete Bremy is living the rock and roll dream as the bassist for his all-time favorite band, Vanilla Fudge. The New Jersey native started out as a drummer and picked up the bass as a teenager. In the late 1960s, Bremy played with a popular local covers band called Heaven’s Sundae and later studied music at William Paterson University. After a 25-year break from rock and roll, he got back into music in the late 1990s. In 1999, Vince Martell, Vanilla Fudge’s lead guitarist, recruited Pete into the Vince Martell Band. After serving as touring bassist with Vanilla Fudge in the early 2000s, Bremy became the band’s regular bass player after Tim Bogert’s retirement in 2010. In addition to his work with Vanilla Fudge and the Vince Martell band, Bremy has also played with Essra Mohawk, Cactus, Carnaby Street, and Loretta Hagen.
