Bob Lizik knows all about hanging ten on the bass while playing classic Beach Boys tunes. The Chicago native is the longtime bassist for Brian Wilson’s band and is perhaps most closely associated with the iconic surf rock band’s co-founder. He’s also a veteran session player who’s recorded with the likes of Barbra Streisand, Billy Joel, Mavis Staples, Eric Clapton, Madonna, and Mariah Carey. Beyond that, Lizik has worked extensively in the commercial music industry and is known for his work with singer/songwriter Tim Moore, and Jerry Goodman of the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
