Based in Virginia, Brittany Frompovich is a highly regarded bassist and educator, incessantly involved in a wide variety of projects. Brittany is the founder of the Virginia Bass Forum, which serves to help bass players improve their craft, as well as “Kids Jamming for Kids,” a yearly benefit concert that raises donations for Guitars Not Guns and the Fredericksburg Food Bank.
As a performer who doubles on both electric and upright bass, Brittany can be heard in any number of ensembles, playing everything from funk to Celtic, rock, jazz, R&B and orchestral music.
A passionate educator, Brittiany has given bass clinics at the Musicians Institute, NAMM, Gerald Veasley’s Bass BootCamp, the RVA Girls Rock Camp, the Washington Music Bass Day Summit, the Atlanta Bass Gallery and many other venues and events.
