Harvie S is an award-winning bassist, composer, arranger producer and educator.  Throughout his stellar career, Harvie has performed and recorded with Stan Getz, Tony Bennett, Chet Baker, Art Farmer, Dexter Gordon, Joe Lovano, Zoot Sims, Paquito D’Rivera, Michael Brecker, Danilo Perez, Phil Woods, Louis Bellson, Gil Evans, Ray Baretto and countless others.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Harvie at Kolstein Music in New York City to talk about new releases, current and upcoming projects and why he loves his Kolstein Busetto bass!
