Kevin Keith is an LA-based music technologist, audio engineer and bass player, as well as a master of the Chapman Stick.
He is the creator of The Electronic Jazz Ensemble, described as “an urban jazz powerhouse band,” which also features electronic percussionist David “Fingers” Haynes.
By day, Kevin is Chief Studio Engineer at Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio. He also composes music for TV through a division of Warner Bros.
FBPO’s Jon Liebman sat down with Kevin recently to talk about career, music technology and, most notably, the Chapman “Railboard” stick bass.
