Born and bred in the metro Detroit area, Jeff Whittle is a long-time member of the progressive rock band, Tiles. Formed in 1993, Tiles has enjoyed huge international success, having released nearly a dozen albums and playing to loyal fans throughout the world. Tiles has also toured Europe as the opening act for Dream Theater.
FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Jeff recently to talk about the band’s forthcoming album, Pretending To Run, scheduled for release in early 2016. The new release, a double disc set, features guest performances by Mike Portnoy, Adam Holzman, Ian Anderson, Mike Stern and others.
