Formed in 2001, the Iron Maidens is an all-female tribute band, playing the music of English heavy metal band Iron Maiden.
The Iron Maidens quickly gained acceptance as one of rock’s most popular tribute bands, almost from the very beginning. They’ve played to packed houses everywhere, covering a wide variety of Iron Maiden’s biggest hits and fan favorites.
The Iron Maidens and its members have been the recipients of numerous awards at events, including the Rock City News Awards, the LA Music Awards, the All Access Magazine Award Show and several others.
The band’s lineup includes Kirsten Rosenberg (vocals), Courtney Cox (guitar), Nikki Stringfield (guitar), Wanda Ortiz (bass) and Linda McDonald (drums).
FGPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Courtney and Nikki at the GHS booth at the 2016 winter NAMM show.
