Exclusive video interview with FBPO’s Jon Liebman

Chris Loftlin has an enthusiasm about him that’s hard to contain. It comes  out both when he’s having a conversation and when he’s tearing it up on the bass. It’s a good thing he’s got all that energy too, because he’s a busy guy, holding down a job as Brian McKnight’s bassist and music director, while also teaching students at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Despite his incredibly packed schedule, however, Loftlin did have some time to sit down with FBPO’s Jon Liebman for a talk that delved into his experiences teaching at Berklee, a recent gig with Eric Krasno and how Isaiah Sharkey convinced him to start working on an upcoming solo album.
