A native of Innsbruck, Austria, Ariane Cap has been immersed in music since the age of 5.  Having studied piano and flute until the age of 18, Ariane discovered electric and upright bass and found her true calling.

Educated at Conservatory of the Land Tirol, Academy of Music Vienna and University of Miami, as well as privately with the likes of Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, Chuck Rainey, Gerald Veasley, Kai Eckhardt, Ariane has performed in countless scenarios throughout Europe and the U.S.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Ariane recently at the Warwick Bass Camp in Markneukirchen, Germany.
