Conrad Korsch is an NYC-based upright and electric bassist, musical director, and producer, originally from Philadelphia. Best known for his work as Rod Stewart’s former bassist and musical director, Conrad has also worked with countless stars in the music industry, including Debbie Gibson, Cyndi Lauper, Andrea Bocelli, Carly Simon, Elvis Costello, Carole King, Adam Levine, Liza Minelli, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, and Manhattan Transfer. Conrad has also played in over a dozen major Broadway pit orchestras, the house band of the Tony Awards, and was an original cast member of the musical Swing! from 1999. Along with a prolific amount of studio, television and film credits to his name, Conrad gigs around New York with his new trio, the Conrad Korsch Electrio, when not working on shows like Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, or Live with Kelly and Mark.
