A native of Baltimore, Gary Grainger is widely known for his work with John Scofield and Acoustic Alchemy, as well as having performed and/or recorded with Eumir Deodato, Nancy Wilson, Lonnie Liston Smith, George Duke, Dennis Chambers, Eric Marienthal and many others. Grainger was also part of the band Pockets, which used to tour as the opening act for Earth, Wind & Fire.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman sat down with Gary at the 2016 winter NAMM show to talk about his career, future plans and PRS Product Line bass.
