Jerry Watts, Jr. has been well established in the LA music scene for over 30 years, having appeared on hundreds of records, film and TV soundtracks. He has also traveled extensively with many international touring acts, performing in over 40 countries.
Throughout the course of his extensive career, Jerry has shared the stage and/or recorded with Peter Cetera, Herbie Hancock, Billy Idol, Dori Caymmi, Andy Summers, Keith Emerson, Andy Timmons, Airto Moreira, Billy Childs, Sergio Mendes, John Daversa, Simon Phillips and many others.
Since 2006, Jerry has served as chairman of the Bass Department at the Los Angeles College of Music (LACM).
