Kevin Chown is an electric bassist from Escanaba, Michigan. Best known for his work with Finnish vocalist Tarja Turunen and Chad Smith’s Bombastic Meatbats, Kevin has also worked with renowned artists including Paul Gilbert, Sebastian Bach, Uncle Kracker, Chuck Berry, Tiffany, The Supremes and Tony Macalpine, while also having performed on over 100 recordings throughout his career. Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in jazz studies at Wayne State University and spent many years honing his skills in Detroit, MI, before moving to Los Angeles, where he lived for 25 years and was very active in the LA music scene.
