Michael Manring is considered by many to have redefined the boundaries of the electric bass guitar. While perhaps best known for his so performances and recordings, Manring has also collaborated with a number of music luminaries, cutting across several genres. Over the years, he has performed and/or recorded with everyone from Michael Hedges and John Gorka to Tim Alexander, Alex Skolnick and Thomas Dolby. His is also the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions and Grammy nominations.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Michael at the 2016 London Bass Guitar Show.
