Hailing from Southern California, Mike Watt is a punk bass icon, widely known for his long tenure with Iggy & the Stooges, as well as fIREHOSE, the Minutemen and other prominent bands.

Most recently, Mike has collaborated with the likes of Nels Cline, Jim O’Rourke, Charlie Plymell, Petra Haden and various other artists, covering a wide range of creative outlets.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Mike in Hollywood, CA, in the fall of 2015.
