When it comes to playing bass, how much do you suck, and why?

Sounds rather harsh, I know, but the problem may be as simple as focusing on the wrong things.

Let’s say you’re in your 60s or 70s, you never really learned to play an instrument, and you feel like you’re getting a late start.

Does any of that sound familiar?

Don’t get hung up on things that don’t matter. There are a few basics, which, once you get down, will enable you to play those classic rock riffs you love so much.
