Andy Irvine is a world-renowned bassist and bandleader, critically acclaimed for his feel-good grooves, top-notch soloing and songwriting skills.  Andy has traveled the world many times, as a sideman as well as leader his own bands.  He has also done numerous international clinics and product demonstrations for Warwick Bass.

Andy’s grooves cover a wide range of musical genres, including funk, jazz, gospel, blues, R&B and soul. To date, he has released three albums as a leader: Soul Clap (2009), Diggin’ That Funky Blues (2012) and his newest CD, The Way I Like It (2013).

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Andy at the 2015 Warwick Bass Camp in Markneukirchen, Germany.
