Antonella Mazza is considered by many to be one of Italy’s most highly acclaimed bassists. She studied classical double bass at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan under the direction of Ezio Pederzani, and trained with Bruce Gertz and David Clark at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Antonella’s bass playing has been featured on many international tours, recordings and television appearances. She has performed with many of Italy’s most highly regarded music stars, including Massimo Ranieri, La Crus, Fabio Volo, Ron, and Soulstance. Antonella, who now makes her home in Paris, is currently on tour with guitarist Mat Ninat.
