Ariane Cap has been immersed in music from a very early age, having studied classical piano and flute in her native Austria before discovering the bass. She studied at the Academy of Music Vienna and the University of Miami and has performed extensively throughout Europe and the U.S. Ariane is the author of Music Theory for the Bass Player: A Comprehensive Guide to Playing with More Confidence and Freedom.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman sat down with Ariane at the 2016 Warwick Bass Camp in Markneukirchen, Germany.
