Buster Williams is one of the most iconic bass players in the world of jazz. Born in 1942 in Camden, NJ, Williams has performed and/or toured with a veritable who’s who of music elite, including Gene Ammons, Sonny Stitt, Jimmy Heath, Art Blakey, Dakota Staton, Betty Carter, Chet Baker, Lee Morgan, Miles Davis, Woody Shaw, Nancy Wilson, Cedar Walton, Carmen McRae, Dexter Gordon, Herbie Hancock, Sarah Vaughan, Larry Coryell, Benny Golson, Errol Garner and countless others.
