John Williams is a true jazz legend. In addition to his long tenures as house bassist for The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson and The Arsenio Hall Show, John was a member of the Nancy Wilson Trio for 25 years. He has also performed and/or recorded with a long list of jazz luminaries, including Horace Silver, Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Smith, Freddie Hubbard, Kenny Burrell, Count Basie, Jon Hendricks, Sir Roland Hanna, Louie Bellson, Benny Carter and many others.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with John at the 2016 Warwick Bass Camp in Markneukirchen, Germany.
