Darrius Jamar is a multi-instrumentalist and producer. Growing up in Huntsville, AL, Darrius’ first exposure to music was in the church, where he learned every instrument he could get his hands on, especially the bass.

After becoming a professional musician at a very early age, specializing in smooth jazz, funk and R&B, Darrius has since shared stages with a wide variety of artists, including Grammy-nominated singer Martha Munizzi, Darren Rahn, Tim Bowman, Tamia, and Jordan Knight.  He has also had his music featured on the VH1 series, Love and Hip Hop.  Jamar’s first solo EP, Bounce Back, was released in September 2015.  Darrius Jamar proudly plays GHS strings.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Darrius at the 2016 winter NAMM show.
