Doug Wimbish is a bassist and producer with a long a varied career.  Beginning in the late ‘70s, Doug was part of the legendary Sugarhill Records rhythm section, where his bass could be heard on hits from Grandmaster Flash, Melle Mel and Angie Stone.  Wimbish was also a founding member of the funky, electronic ‘80s band TackHead.

Perhaps best known for his work with Living Colour and his own “Wimbash,” Doug has also worked with Jeff Beck, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Joe Satriani, Depeche Mode, Mos Def and many others.
