A master of both upright and electric bass and a highly regarded teacher and clinician, Federico Malaman has performed with everyone from George Benson, Randy Waldman and Dave Stryker to Ian Paice, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez and many others. He has also collaborated with fellow bassists Hadrien Feraud, Alain Caron, Etienne Mbappé, Matt Garrison, Yolanda Charles, Andrew Gouché, Henrik Linder and more.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Federico at the 2016 London Bass Guitar Show.
