Toronto-based Jesse Dietschi is a master of both upright and electric bass. He’s also a composer and educator, equally experienced in jazz, classical, and popular music. Jesse has performed all over North America with various orchestras, jazz ensembles, and rock groups, as well as folk and R&B artists. Currently, he’s the principal bassist of Sinfonia Toronto. Jesse has holds graduate degrees in Jazz Performance from the University of Toronto, Orchestral Performance from the Glenn Gould School, and Composition from Brandon University. His latest release, Gradient, a jazz trio record, was released on October 6.
