Volbeat bassist shares details on band’s new album, God of Angels Trust

Kaspar Boye Larsen is a Danish bassist most known for being a member of globally acclaimed metal act Volbeat since 2016. He was inspired to pick up the bass after first hearing The Cure in the late ‘80s, which quickly turned into teaching himself bass techniques from many heavier rock styles, including punk, hardcore, and death metal. Before working with Volbeat, Kaspar played for many years with Danish death metal act Withering Surface until 2004. In June of 2025, Kaspar will be embarking on a North American and European tour with Volbeat in support of their upcoming new album, God of Angels Trust, scheduled for release June 6, 2025.
