Learn to nail those minor arpeggios on the bass…

…while totally grooving in the process!

Last week, I showed you how to lay down a bass line using just three notes in a major chord.

As promised, this week, I’ll cover the same concept, only this time using minor chords.

As you may have heard me say in the past, there’s no reason you can’t build great bass technique and groove at the same time!

In my resources for learning bass, I make everything groove: scales, arpeggios, string crossings, chromatic runs… You need to learn that stuff anyway, so why not do it in a way that’s musically satisfying and rewarding, not to mention fun to play?

In this week’s video, I’ll give you lots of examples on how to accomplish both.

Check it out, then see what you can come up with on your own.

As always, be sure to leave a comment below with your biggest takeaway. I’d love to know your reaction.

Let’s play bass!

Jon

Great to stay constantly reminded of the basics. Acts as a refresher so that those skills learned are not lost or overlooked.
