Matt Felice has loved music ever since hearing his father’s records as a young boy, most notably Al Hirt, Herb Alpert, and Glen Campbell. As his musical tastes broadened, Matt gravitated to the classic rock he heard on the radio, while also developing appreciation for jazz and classical music. In this casual one-on-one interview, Matt shares his story about how he’d dabbled with the bass, but didn’t get serious with it until he was an adult. Since he joined the Bottom Line Club at For Bass Players Only, Matt’s says he’s improved his timing, sight reading, and feel for laying down a solid bass groove. Learning bass had added so much joy and fulfillment to Matt’s life, he just can’t get enough of it.
