Seasoned metal man talks about Pantera’s songwriting process, current projects and his brand new Warwick basses

A native of Texas, Rex Brown is best known as the longtime bassist of the highly successful metal band, Pantera, which he co-founded with Vinnie Paul, Dimebag Darrell and Terry Glaze.  Rex is also a former member of Down and currently holds the bass gig in the heavy metal band Kill Devil Hill.  Rex’s book, Official Truth: 101 Proof – The Inside Story of Pantera, was released in 2013.

FBPO’s Jon Liebman caught up with Rex at the new Warwick showroom in Nashville, TN, during the 2015 summer NAMM show.
