Nathan Peck is an outstanding bassist, who doubles on both upright and electric. Raised in a musical family, Nathan was surrounded by music from the very beginning. Growing up outside Pittsburgh, Nathan performed regularly, first with family members, then with Roger Humphries, Joe Harris, Jimmy Ponder, and others. Eventually, he found work with a wide range of musical artists, including Maynard Ferguson, Bonnie Tyler, Maria Muldaur, Vernon Reid, Mark Murphy, Alex Skolnick, Rodrigo Y Gabriella, and Shawn Pelton. Nathan is a winner of the Milt Hinton Scholarship and was also a participant in the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program. He’s currently very active on the New York music scene.
