Steve Lawson is one of the UK’s most celebrated solo bassists, known for blending “new-age, post-rock, ambient-jazz, solo bass” into a style that’s entirely his own. Called “Britain’s most innovative bassist, no contest” by Bass Guitar Magazine, he’s released dozens of acclaimed solo and collaborative projects, performed worldwide, and worked with artists like Divinity Roxx, Beardyman, Jason Cooper, Jon Thorne, Rob Turner, Jem Godfrey, and Roy Dodds. Alongside his prolific output, Steve is also a passionate educator and clinician, continuing to inspire bass players everywhere.
